Creativity is a critical asset for a vibrant corporate community. It is not just so that we can come up with creative solutions that save businesses resources and help win market share; it is also not so that we can predict change and stay ahead in competition. Rather, creativity is needed for us to learn to respond naturally and with versatility, to the ever changing direct and indirect demands on our lives. But for long term sustainability, we need to think beyond creativity for us to harmonize with change. As such, Arts is a necessary tool in our life for Arts is a means of expressions to bridge human distance, for businesses and people to come to common focal points of understanding creatively, to be encompassing in our approach.
We use Arts to reflect our hopes and dreams, find a moderate outlet for our frustration and anger, as well as share our observations and emotions. It teaches us to see with our minds, touch with our hearts, and connect and have fun with people from different cultures and experiences. It is accessible to everyone, because it is authentic and comes straight from the heart. Every image, object and situation that we come across conjures up ideas and emotions; Arts is simply translating these thoughts and feelings from different experiences in life into expressions, shapes and shades in different forms, highly stylized or close to life, often with a dose of humour, to help others relate to our thoughts and understand our feelings.
CCG Arts programmes build understanding and teamwork through collaborative projects and sculpt an inclusive environment that encourages corporate teams to be creative and expressive. When the corporate community participates in creating art that is reflective of the corporate world, common grounds for exchange is developed and a platform for creativity and innovation, reflection and rejuvenation is born.
If you would like to initiate a project to reach out to the corporate community, collaborate with other likeminded organizations through CCG or share your ideas on creating more programmes on this platform, do get in touch with Ms Cheng Lee Fan at 6433 2630 or email to
