This is a year of voyage where we continue our search to bring across the message of “community” through sports and festivities but in an unusual way – theme-based storylines events. In particular, Starship Communitas and Voyage to Tribenea are two signature events which are seemingly centuries apart but conveyed the same message to address community spiritedness. With carefully crafted storylines weaved into the programmes, each event called for the participants' full involvement to create their own experience collectively. These two signature events saw participants “transformed” and totally absorbed in playing their respective roles in different segment of the programmes, to create an experience for themselves.   Through the process, the participants were eventually able to embrace the common ideal of the festive gatherings, knowing that for one single night, they are bonded as one united community.
