2004 marks a significant year for the platform. We were at the cross-juncture whether to continue organizing the annual sports competition for corporations. A corporate platform would only be sustainable if corporations themselves are truly committed to participate. Only with sufficient support from corporations would the platform devote resources into doing so. Corporations came forth and demonstrated their support by signing their commitment to participate early in the year. This gave us strong faith and encouragement that corporations value an opportunity for community bonding, meeting and interacting with participants of other corporations on a non-business platform.

The Games was successfully launched on July 2004 with the support of 55 companies that signed up 326 teams in 11 different sports. As part of the effort to help participating teams engage their top management and create greater internal support for their participation, Top Management Representatives were involved in leading the rah-rah session at the start of the sports competition. The rah-rah session was an informal gathering session which brought together all participants to cheer on one another before the action gets underway. The year also saw the empowerment of certain individuals – the Team Leaders and Team Captains, whose roles are critical in making the Games not only a success but meaningful and enjoyable experience for all. It was another step towards creating more ownership in the platform to make it truly for corporations, by corporations.
