The seventh year marked an important milestone in CCG's journey. This year, the platform expanded with the advent of new arts programmes – ART JAM as part of a step towards making CCG a more multi-faceted platform. Participating companies were encouraged to go beyond the pursuit of the Division Awards based on their performance in the Sports and Arts Programmes and also to garner votes awarded to them in acknowledgment of their sportsmanship and friendship to the other teams.
There were a total of 388 teams participating in 11 different sports and 2 arts programmes over 8 weekends from May to September. The year ended on a celebratory note at the CCG 2006 Award Presentation where participating companies were duly recognized with Medals of Participation. The coveted Division Awards were also presented to organizations that have displayed exemplary performance not only in Sports and Arts Programmes but also in their overall commendable attitude and behaviour throughout the Games. The cake-cutting ceremony was poignant and memorable as all the representatives planted candles on the special CCG cake. Wishes were made for the community which we all belong to and are a part of. This shared moment of our collective participation and celebration was a testament of a growing community as we look forward to more good years to come...
