With a total of 433 teams, the 2008 Games attracted the highest number of participating teams since the Games began. As key ambassadors of their companies, Team Leaders and Top Management Representatives of participating companies kick-started the series of 10 Sports and 1 Arts programmes for the year at the CCG Team Leaders' Gathering. The gathering saw the representatives receiving the CCG flag on their companies' behalf and setting the tone for their companies' participation in the Games as they shared their goals with all.

At Art Jam, teams explored the theme - "We are what we __________" - defining themselves through colours and images. This jamming session created interesting interpretations of the theme as teams embarked on co-creation and produced artworks that spoke a language beyond usual expressions within a group of people.

At the sporting arena, Team Captains played significant roles in upholding the spirit of friendly competition, and made the Combined Team events a success in creating opportunities for more interaction and fostering spontaneous team spirit amongst participants from different companies.

To put together a Games of such scale required a lot of enthusiasm and effort from all who partake. This annual gathering of corporations, though temporal, has brought about collective energy and a feeling of connectedness.

The Games will be TEN next year and more exciting programmes are in the pipeline. Join in the next lap of our journey.
